Do you manage my social media or content marketing?

At Work, Rest or Play, we’re not your content marketer. We don’t plan, write, schedule or manage your communications.

What we do provide is a platform for you to share your content, supported by a community of advertisers and the SEO benefits of being listed on our site.


Why do I only see my logo or directory listing being shared on social media?

If we haven’t received content from you, we can only share what we have — usually your logo or directory listing. Think of this as “filler.”

It’s impossible for us to share what’s hot (or what’s not) if you don’t tell us.


Is it okay if I just want a directory listing and SEO benefits?

Absolutely.
If you’re happy with logo visibility, a directory listing and the SEO value of being on our site, that’s completely fine.


How can I get more visibility?

You have a few easy options:

  • Add your event to our local calendar — it’s quick, easy, and you can upload the details yourself
  • Tag us in your social media posts so we can reshare
  • Send us a press release (this is content you want shared in our news section)

What is a Success Session?

Success Sessions are not content planning sessions.

They’re a chance to sit down with a real person and make sure your listing is genuinely working for you. During a session, we can:

  1. Make sure all information is complete, accurate, and up to date
  1. Highlight and review all the features available to you, especially if you’re not currently making use of them

This is a personal, supportive check-in — not a sales call, not an upsell. Just a helpful way to ensure you’re getting the most from being part of Work, Rest or Play.


Will you create content for me?

No
We don’t create content on your behalf unless you’re working with one of our partner specialists through an upgraded package.

That said, we’re happy to work with what you provide. If you send us bullet points or rough copy, we can help shape this into an article for our platform — just don’t forget to include photos or other images.
